Electric Crib Heaters & Tubular Heaters

Keep switches clear of snow and ice.

Crib Heaters

Spectrum Crib Heaters are made of corrosive resistant aluminum or stainless steel and the heating element is made of high quality incoloy sheath construction that insure longer life and minimal maintenance.



Standard Crib Heaters are 5" wide and 6, 8, 10, or 12 feet in length and rated up to 500 watts per foot. Heaters are furnished with a permanent standard seal against moisture with 10 foot, #6 AWG cable lead on each end.



Tubular Heaters

Standard Tubular Heaters for switches up to 40 feet in length are rated up to 500 watts per foot. Heaters are .475 diameter sheath, furnished with permanent standard moisture resistant terminals with 10 foot, #6 AWG cable lead on each end.

Heaters can be mounted on either the field side or the gauge side. Bolt-on & Snap-on (field side only) Hardware is available.
